Technology such as the EnSite Fusion cardiac imaging system, which creates detailed images of the heart to help physicians diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias, demonstrates St. Jude Medical's leadership in this area.

Our Mission Statement
It is our mission to develop medical technology and services that put more control into the hands of those who treat cardiac, neurological and chronic pain patients, worldwide. We do this because we are dedicated to advancing the practice of medicine by reducing risk wherever possible and contributing to successful outcomes for every patient.

 Atritech

www.atritech.net

BWATCHMAN® Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure Technology is a device alternative to warfarin therapy for patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.

Patients with atrial fibrillation are at a significantly greater risk of having a stroke due to embolization of clots that may form in the left atrial appendage.

By closing off the left atrial appendage, the WATCHMAN technology is designed to reduce embolization of thrombi that may form in the LAA, reducing the risk of stroke, cardiovascular death and systemic thromboembolism.
